Noble Purpose
Neuroscience Ireland advances research and
education in the neurosciences and represents neuroscience research
in Ireland.
About Neuroscience Ireland
The aim of the association is to advance a multidisciplinary
neuroscience forum facilitating liaison, knowledge sharing and expertise
which will guarantee that Ireland achieves international excellence
in the neurosciences. The promotion of education in the neurosciences
including outreach programmes to the general public is a prime goal
of Neuroscience Ireland. Neuroscience Ireland will be affiliated
with the Federated European Neuroscience Societies (FENS), which
confers eligibility to sponsor abstracts at the Society for Neuroscience
meeting.
Scientific Affairs
Scientific activities are at the heart of the Neuroscience Ireland’s
work. The National Meetings Co-ordinator organises an annual Neuroscience
Ireland scientific conference and exhibition. The National Meeting
is complimented by an active and varied programme of scientific
